RENTING OUT

You can now bring your pets out to Greece and take them back to the UK without the need for quarantine using the pet passport system. The system usually works well and, as more and more people use it, it can only improve. Sasha, Chris Griffiths’ long-haired German Shepherd dog, made the trip without any problems.

Ask your vet in the UK to explain the procedures involved: injections for Rabies, blood tests and then a waiting period whilst these take effect. Once your pet is inoculated, it will only need an annual booster injection and the necessary certification if you wish to take it back to the UK.
